Black First, Everything Else Second

If you look at a Black person and say, “you are Black”. They will respond with everything except Black. This is a fruitless effort to place themselves above the very people [Black Americans] that have built the life that the immigrant Black people benefit from in America.

A Black person from Africa will say, “I’m Nigeria. I’m Kenyan. I’m Congolese. I’m Ghanaian. I’m Sudanese. I’m Ethiopian.” And so on.
